Intensive In-Home Programming is a comprehensive Applied Verbal Behavior (AVB) language program that capitalizes on each child's motivation to keep learning fun! Programming utilizes the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and is geared towards children with significant language deficits and/or behavioral challenges. The Assessment of Basic Language & Learning Skills-Revised (ABLLS-R) is completed to determine individualized objectives. Parents, Caregivers, and in-home tutors are trained on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), effective teaching procedures, data collection, and the clients individualized objectives. Your qualified clinician will be responsible for ongoing monitoring, program updates, and data analysis to promote a high and steady rate of learning.
Profession training is offered in a workshop type setting for parents, caregivers, and other professionals. The following topics have been presented in the past but additional topics may be prepared upon request.
This service utilizes the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and begins with a thorough clinical evaluation and functional assessment of problematic behaviors. A Behavior Support Plan that addresses functionally appropriate interventions and replacement behaviors is developed. Parents and caregivers are trained and ongoing monitoring of the Behavior Support Plan is provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Individual
& Family TherapyThis is offered to individuals with and without disabilities to address clinical issues including: depression, anxiety, impulse control, grieving, attention deficit and relationship issues. Therapy focuses on assisting the client to establish life values and modify their behavior in accordance with those values.
Psychoeducational Therapy includes social skills training, socio-sexual education, parent education and anger management.
Supervision for Board Certification in Behavior Analysis is also available. Supervision includes weekly face to face meetings and all necessary requirements set forth by the certification board.
